FreedomWorks for America today endorsed Josh Hawley for attorney general of Missouri. The endorsement was announced Thursday evening at a campaign event in Kansas City, Missouri.

“The growth of the federal regulatory state is one of the biggest threats to the economic and personal freedoms of all Americans, which is why it’s so important that we rally behind conservatives who are running for attorney general. Josh Hawley is exactly the type of attorney general Missouri needs to fight this form of government overreach,” said FreedomWorks for America Chairman Adam Brandon. “Josh Hawley is an experienced attorney who has taken on the Obama administration and won. He will help lead the fight against the federal regulatory state and its army of bureaucrats.”

“Missouri Republicans have an incredible opportunity to elect this proven, battle-tested conservative to become the state’s next attorney general. We encourage Republican voters to support Josh Hawley when they head to the polls on August 2,” Brandon added.
