Vandalism Strikes FreedomWorks for America Office in Mesa, Arizona

Mesa, AZ- FreedomWorks for America field coordinators in Arizona filed a police report on Monday, October 22nd after discovering rocks thrown through a window of their “Get out the Vote” Headquarters in Mesa.

Russ Walker, FreedomWorks for America’s National Political Director commented, “There is no place for ‘bully politics’ in this Senate race. We are very disappointed that someone would try to intimidate citizens from educating voters on each Senate candidate in an attempt to shut down the political discourse across the state.”

It was concluded the window was broken sometime between midnight Saturday and Monday morning. The damage was discovered by FreedomWorks for America field coordinator Allison VanOver.

FreedomWorks for America field coordinator, Sam Stone, added, “When we arrived in the morning, we found the damage. We have a couple of laptop computers, a big screen TV and a lot of other valuable, easily transportable items in our office, but none of them were taken. It's hard to see how this could be anything other than a deliberate act. I guess somebody has taken note of FreedomWorks in Arizona.”

FreedomWorks for America plans to continue its Get out the Vote efforts in the final days leading into Election Day, which includes door-to-door outreach, door hangers, yard signs and distribution of voter education materials, which contrast Jeff Flake’s record of responsible economic policy with the many ways in which Richard Carmona will likely vote to increase the size and scope of government.
