FreedomWorks for America Welcomes Ryan Hecker, Treasurer and Chief Operating Officer
WASHINGTON, DC – FreedomWorks for America is proud to announce the addition of Ryan Hecker as Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer of the Super PAC. Previously a Houston attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP, Ryan Hecker was also heavily involved in the Tea Party movement both locally and nationally.
Hecker served as a board member of the Houston Tea Party Society and the Chief Organizer of the Contract from America, a grassroots, bottom-up fiscal conservative reform plan signed by over 80 current Senators and Congressmen and over 300 Senate and House candidates.
“With a base of one-million strong volunteers, FreedomWorks for America will make a game-changing impact in 2012 and beyond in electing limited government conservatives,” commented Ryan Hecker. “I am excited about this opportunity to mobilize grassroots Tea Party activists across the country to take back the Senate and the White House.”
FreedomWorks for America is the first Super PAC designed to directly support the door-to-door voter outreach that produced historic results in the 2010 midterm elections. As a service center for limited-government activists across the country, FreedomWorks PAC played a key role in the upset victories of senators Mike Lee (UT), Marco Rubio (FL), Rand Paul (KY), Pat Toomey (PA), and flipping the House of Representatives.
Endorsements for 2012 currently include Senate candidates Ted Cruz (TX), Jeff Flake (AZ), Adam Hasner (FL), and Don Stenberg (NE). For more information on the FreedomWorks for America Super PAC, please visit www.FreedomWorksForAmerica.org.
