Adam Kinzinger was elected to the House of Representatives in 2010. During his two years in office he has reneged on promises to fight for reduction of the national debt. Instead he has been content with protecting the status quo in Washington. Last year, he voted against an alternative bill by the Republican Study Committee that would have balanced the budget by 2020. After redistricting, he will face Don Manzullo, a more conservative candidate with a better record of fighting government growth.
